The year 2027 marks the centenary of the birth of Divaldo Pereira Franco, a luminous figure whose voice and example of fellowship touched millions of lives across five continents. To honour this exemplary life, the Mansão do Caminho, the Federação Espírita Brasileira (FEB) and international organisations are holding the meeting Divaldo Franco: O Semeador de Estrelas on 1 and 2 May 2027 in Salvador.
Hosted at the spacious Centro de Convenções Salvador, on the seafront of the Bahian capital, the congress promises to be one of the most moving landmarks in the history of the Spiritist movement, bringing together caravans from Brazil and abroad in an atmosphere of deep gratitude and spiritual renewal.
The purpose of the celebration
After completing his noble earthly journey on 13 May 2025, at the age of 98, Divaldo left as his legacy a vast body of psychographed works (written through spiritist mediumship) and the Mansão do Caminho, an institution that serves thousands of people in social vulnerability every day.
The May 2027 congress is entirely charitable in nature: all revenue from registrations goes towards maintaining the schools, nurseries and health services of the Mansão do Caminho, ensuring the continuity of its seedbed of light.
Programme highlights of the congress
The activities are organised over three days of intense moral and spiritual reflection:
- Friday, 30 April: Welcome for congress participants, registration and a special film session with a biographical discussion about the life of Divaldo.
- Saturday, 1 May: Opening conference with federation leaders, in-depth panels on Joanna de Angelis's Psychological Series, reflections on the planetary transition in the light of the messages of Manoel Philomeno de Miranda, and artistic performances.
- Sunday, 2 May: Solemn prayer for the FEB, conferences devoted to the teachings of Jesus and Francis of Assisi, round tables with uplifting accounts, and the closing keynote talk.
Experiencing the centenary as a group
Taking part in a congress that welcomes thousands of people becomes especially meaningful when shared with a close-knit group:
- Accommodation in a prime location: Comfortable, safe hotels close to the seafront.
- Dedicated private transport: A punctual executive coach for transfers to the Centro de Convenções and for the guided visit to the Mansão do Caminho in Pau da Lima.
- Cultural and gastronomic itinerary: Free time to admire the Pelourinho and the Farol da Barra and to enjoy delicious Bahian cuisine without stress.
- Full coordination: Experienced guides who take care of everything so you can focus on your spiritual well-being.
