Photographs from a personal trip in October 2026, shared in the editorial archive of Guatambu and Mundo a Passeio.
Rio between the bay and the postcards
From above, Urca and Guanabara Bay appear together in one wide frame. Further on, Christ the Redeemer emerges in the distance among the clouds, and the cable car completes this view of the city, moving between sky and hills.

The façade of the Copacabana Palace shows another scale of the urban landscape. In Praça Mauá, the white lines of the Museu do Amanhã stand out beside the water. And inside the Confeitaria Colombo, the architecture comes into closer detail: first the hall, then the coloured design of the stained glass.

Palm trees line the seafront and mark the transition to another rhythm.

Búzios between the sea and the streets
In Búzios, the cove brings together sea and boats, with kayaks appearing on the water. Sculptures of fishermen reach out over the water, while the black and white boats offer a pause from colour in the sequence.

When the light changes
As night falls, coloured lanterns dot the scene and the cobbled street takes on a different look. The seafront appears under the trees, and boats rest beside the water. These are landscapes of the same destination seen at different hours, with no hurry to choose just one as a keepsake.

The end of the day closes the journey in two tones: the gold of the sunset and, afterwards, the pink of dusk. The trip fits into these frames, each image holding a different piece of the landscape.

Which of these landscapes would you keep? This is a personal archive of images, shared to remember Rio and Búzios.
