Divaldo Franco centenary in Salvador
The most anticipated celebration of 2027 is the gathering marking the centenary of the birth of Divaldo Pereira Franco, entitled O Semeador de Estrelas, confirmed for 1 and 2 May 2027 at the Centro de Convenções Salvador (BA).
The event will bring together leading figures of Spiritist thought, in Brazil and abroad, addressing the psychology of Joanna de Angelis, the planetary transition and charity in action, with all proceeds going to support the social work of the Mansão do Caminho.
Regional and state gatherings in the South and Centre-West
Besides the major tribute in Bahia, other relevant gatherings appear on the calendar:
- Rio Grande do Sul: The traditional Congresso Espírita do RS, organised by FERGS, usually brings together thousands of participants around current social themes from a Gospel-based perspective.
- Paraná: The Federação Espírita do Paraná (FEP) keeps up its calendar of conferences and seminars aimed at young people, families and doctrinal volunteers.
- Goiás: The Congresso Espírita de Goiás, in Goiânia, is widely recognised for its impeccable organisation and for the presence of speakers of great national standing.
