You have received two quotes to take your group to the same destination. Before choosing, check whether they describe the same trip. One may include journeys at the destination; the other may cover only the outward and return trips. One may include waiting time, while the other needs to be updated. At Guatambu Travel, we start with the scope of the charter, because a price alone does not tell an organiser what the group will receive.
There is no single bus charter price for every trip. Dates, route, duration, availability, vehicle configuration and group needs all matter. Guatambu arranges and acts as an intermediary with partner transport operators; it does not own a vehicle fleet. Service in different parts of Brazil is subject to a workable proposal for each itinerary.

Compare the whole trip
Make a short list of these points for each quote. Ask for clarification wherever an answer is missing:
| Item | Question to ask |
|---|---|
| Route | Are outward, return, stops and local journeys included? |
| Time | Will the vehicle wait at the destination, and on which days and hours? |
| Pickup | Does the quote account for bringing the vehicle to the initial pickup point? |
| Vehicle | Are capacity, luggage space, accessibility and requested features confirmed? |
| Expenses | Are tolls, parking and crew expenses in the total or listed separately? |
| Terms | How long is the quote valid, and how are changes and cancellations handled? |
This is a comparison aid, not a pricing formula. A day trip and a trip requiring an overnight stay involve different arrangements. If the group plans to visit two places at the destination, include those journeys in the request even if the exact times are still open.
Total cost and cost per participant
For a private group charter, compare the total transport price specified in each proposal first. If you need to plan how the group will share the expense, divide that figure by the estimated number of participants. This is the organiser's planning calculation; it is not Guatambu's offer of individual seats.
If the number of passengers changes, check the vehicle choice and recalculate the share. Luggage and accessibility needs also matter. More seats do not automatically provide the luggage space or layout the group needs.
Send a brief that supports a fair comparison
Provide departure point, destination, pickup locations, departure and return dates and times. Add estimated passenger numbers, luggage, stops, destination activities and periods when the vehicle needs to be available. Mark what is still undecided. The team can then explain what remains subject to confirmation and which changes would require a revised quote.
If you need a tour guide, ask for guiding to appear separately or be clearly identified in a combined quote. Transport and guide services can be arranged separately or together through Guatambu's and Mundo a Passeio's partner network, subject to feasibility. Do not assume meals, accommodation or admission tickets are included; read the written scope.
Documents and written terms
For interstate or international charter road transport within the scope of Brazil's ANTT, the official guidance discusses trip documentation, including the operator's identity and details of the route, times and passengers. It does not set a standard price. Ask the responsible operator which documents apply to your trip.
In its travel guidance, Procon-SP recommends clarity about included services and extra charges, with agreements recorded in the contract. Apply that care to the written quote. Identify the group contact and who may approve changes before confirming.
Request a proposal for your group
Send Guatambu Travel the itinerary you have and point out any estimates via WhatsApp. The team can assess transport, guiding or both and describe a feasible option for your group. See charter bus services.
